We are pleased to inform all of you that after almost two years of patience, sufferings and struggling, we have started the reconstruction works at P P Princess Resort and P P Charlie Beach Resort on last two weeks.
Around February 2007, we’ll take pleasure to invite all of you to visit our new property - new rooms, restaurants, beach bars, spa and Charlie shopping mall. There were many obstacles which prolonged our reconstruction. First of all, the government has no transparent policy on P P Island. Secondly, the controversy of many concerning laws such as the environmental decrees and the public works decrees. Thirdly, the obsolescence of enforcing laws such as the height of bungalows which has been limited to 6 metres and is not comply with the safety protection from the Tsunami Tidal Wave. Fourthly, the bureaucratic process to correct all controversial laws. To redesign and reconstruct our property, we have to think carefully on the stability and safety of our customers while maintaining the concept of environmental and natural beauty conservation. Moreover, full facilities for convenience are also being our main consideration. We come out with the following perspective which we do expect to get your comments and suggestions . There are two types of accommodations - one is the beachfront villa with two stories, living room downstairs, bedroom and toilet upstairs, the other one is the deluxe room on the three stories buildings with also seaview on the second and third floor. Meanwhile Charlie’s rooms will locate at the back side. Many factors, some as mentioned above have pushed our investment cost higher than normal situation. Anyhow we can assure you that our prices will be reasonable and suitable for both sides. We’ll report to you our reconstruction progress occasionally and hoping to get your full support as always.
